Monkeybrains customer service: phone number and menu

Call 415 974 1313 for Monkeybrains. Our recorded residential service inquiry reached a person who checked the building, explained the installation requirements and offered appointment windows. We did not book an installation.

The Monkeybrains customer service number is 415 974 1313. Its official support page lists office hours as Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. In our recorded call, the menu offered 1 for new residential service and scheduling, 2 for technical support, 3 for billing, and 5 for commercial and event services.

We used call4me to ask about home internet for one San Francisco apartment on September 28, 2026. A representative checked whether the building could be served, explained the installation requirements and offered arrival windows. The caller left to check with the property manager. No installation was booked and no service was activated.

The recording is from September. We checked the official contact and service pages again on November 2; we did not place a new call for this article.

Monkeybrains phone menu for residential service, technical support and billing

Which menu option should you use?

What you need Option announced on our call
New residential service or installation scheduling 1
Technical support 2
Billing or account information 3
New commercial or event service 5
Other inquiries 1

The current Monkeybrains policies page also directs residential inquiries to extension 1, business inquiries to extension 5 and moving or termination questions to billing at extension 3.

Our call tested a residential inquiry. It did not test technical support or billing, and it does not establish how long either department takes to answer. Listen to the current menu before selecting an option.

Listen to the residential service call

This is the previously published recording from our home internet example, about 5 minutes 20 seconds. The original hold remains. The caller's name, address, unit and ZIP code are removed from the public version.

The representative initially said the building had not been served for residential service before. They found the earlier email inquiry, checked the unit and put the caller on hold to check the building's line of sight to nearby towers.

After the hold, the representative confirmed that Monkeybrains could serve that building. They described the installation charge, service plan and router requirement, then checked the appointment calendar. The caller said they would speak to the property manager and get back in touch.

You can read the full redacted dialogue beside the original example.

What the call answered

Question What happened on September 28
Could Monkeybrains serve the apartment building? A representative checked the line of sight and said yes
Was the building already served for residential internet? The representative said it was not
Was property manager approval needed? Yes, including approval for the installation and external drilling
Who supplied the router? The representative said the customer would supply and configure it
Were installation appointments available? The representative offered windows for the following day
Was an appointment booked? No

Those appointment windows were for September 29, 2026. They are historical availability, not open appointments now. The call also does not establish actual installed speeds or service reliability at the apartment.

What to have ready before asking about installation

Give the representative your street address and unit, whether the request is residential or business, and whether you have already submitted an inquiry. In our call, finding the earlier email helped the representative identify the right unit.

Ask these questions for your own building:

  1. Can you serve this exact address and unit?
  2. Is the building already connected, or would this be a new installation?
  3. What approval and building access do you need?
  4. What equipment must I supply?
  5. What appointment windows are available, and what must happen before I can book one?

Monkeybrains' residential page says coverage maps do not guarantee service at an address and that a representative reviews eligibility. It also states that building ownership or management approval is required before installation. Our call illustrates why an address check matters even when a neighborhood is covered.

For an existing connection problem, the support page has an outage map and a contact form. Its map describes whole buildings that are offline, so a missing outage marker does not rule out a problem in one unit. Choose the technical support option rather than the new service route we tested.

Have your assistant check the address

Connect your assistant using the call4me installation guide, then give it a specific inquiry:

Call Monkeybrains about residential service at my address. Ask me for the address, unit and any existing inquiry details first. Check the official contact page and use the residential service option. Find out whether the building is serviceable, what permission and equipment are needed, and the next available installation windows. Bring back the answers and any unanswered questions. Do not sign me up or book an installation.

That brief requests information. If you later want an appointment, give your assistant the days and arrival windows you can accept and confirm that the necessary building approval is in place.
