Wyoming registered agent consent form: how to get it
I asked my assistant to call our Wyoming provider and get the signed consent emailed to us. Here is the real call, the official form, and a prompt you can use.
To get a Wyoming registered agent consent form, ask your chosen registered agent for a signed and dated consent naming your LLC. Your provider can supply the completed document. Wyoming also publishes a blank Consent to Appointment by Registered Agent form showing what the agent needs to complete.
I needed that document for my Wyoming LLC. On October 5, 2026, I used call4me to call the provider and ask for it to be emailed to us. The assistant reached a representative, explained which document we needed, provided the account details, and confirmed the email destination. The document arrived by email. You can hear the call below.
If you already use Claude Code or Codex to help with business paperwork, this is a useful task to hand it: get the missing document from the person who can supply it, then return to the work you were doing. The prompt below is a suggested workflow for those tools; the recording shows my Call4me call.
What the Wyoming consent form is for #
The consent records that the named registered agent agrees to serve as the agent for your business. The state's registered agent guidance says signed consent must accompany new entity filings. For online filing, the filer certifies that they have received similar written consent and keeps it for future reference.
That makes it different from your Articles of Organization. The Wyoming LLC filing form includes the consent page, but the articles and the agent's consent serve different purposes. A copy of your registered agent order or a verbal agreement on the phone is also a different document.
When requesting the consent, ask for it to be completed for your exact LLC name and the registered agent's exact legal name. The official form has fields for the agent's physical registered office address, signature, date, printed name, title, phone and email, plus a mailing address if different.
The signature belongs to the registered agent. If you are using a provider, ask them to supply the completed consent rather than signing for them.
Listen to the call that got the document emailed #
The request was specific: get the signed and dated written consent for our Wyoming filing, with email delivery or an upload to the account's documents section. We supplied the company name, the account phone number and the email destination.
The assistant called Wyoming Registered Agent Services LLC at 307 217 4045, its published contact number. It went through the phone menu and waited for a representative.
Once connected, it asked for the signed and dated consent, spelled the company name, and gave the phone number the representative used to find the account. The representative agreed to email the document. The assistant then confirmed where to send it.
The complete recording (2 minutes 52 seconds) #
The recording preserves the original voices, phone menu, waiting and timing. Our company name, personal names, account phone number and email address are muted. The anonymized transcript is below.
The recording establishes the request and the representative's agreement to email the document. I confirmed that it arrived afterward. The representative did not read back the full consent wording during the call, so checking the attachment is still part of the task.
How to request your signed consent #
Start with your provider's account portal. If the completed consent is already available, download it and keep it with your filing records. Otherwise, contact the provider through its published support channel and ask for the specific document.
You can use this request by phone or in a support message:
Please send the signed and dated registered agent consent for my Wyoming LLC. It should name our LLC exactly as it will appear on the filing and identify the registered agent that is consenting to serve. Please email the completed document to the address on our account, or upload it to our account's documents section.
Have the LLC name, provider account details and delivery destination ready. If the support business name differs from the legal registered agent name on your filing, make that distinction explicit. Ask the provider to confirm which entity will appear on the consent.
When the file arrives, check:
- The LLC name matches your filing.
- The registered agent name and physical office address match the agent you appointed.
- The agent's signature, date, printed name, title and required email are present.
- The document states the agent's consent to serve for your business and includes the compliance certification shown on the official form.
- You have saved the completed document with your records.
If a detail is wrong or missing, ask the provider to correct it before relying on the document. Obtaining the consent is one part of the filing process. Check your formation separately in the Wyoming Business Center.
Have Claude Code or Codex make the call #
Connect your existing assistant using the Claude Code calling guide or Codex calling guide. Then give it the document you need and a clear delivery goal.
Here is a suggested prompt, with details to fill in privately:
Use call4me to call our Wyoming registered agent provider at its verified support number. We need the signed and dated written consent for [LLC name] from [registered agent legal name]. Use the account details I provide to help the representative find our account. Ask them to email the completed document to [email address] or upload it to our account's documents section. Confirm the delivery destination and whether it has been sent or uploaded. If they can only promise to send it later, report that clearly. Return the result and any remaining questions to this conversation. Do not change our registered agent, purchase a service or submit a filing.
After the call, check for the attachment or portal upload and review the document. That gives your assistant a concrete finish line: the paperwork you need is in your hands, and you can continue the original task.
You can also hear this call on the examples page. For another business paperwork example, hear an assistant ask Ohio BWC how to handle a blocked application.
