Book a haircut appointment with your AI personal assistant
Ask your existing assistant to call the salon with your preferred stylist and available dates. A real call booked Friday at 2 PM for $60, but missed an earlier Thursday slot.
To book a haircut appointment, give the salon your preferred stylist, the service and the dates and times you can attend. Ask for the price and cancellation policy, then repeat the stylist, date and time before hanging up. If the earliest appointment matters, compare the calendar dates before comparing times of day.
On October 3, 2026, a call4me customer's AI assistant booked Friday, October 9 at 2 PM with the requested stylist. The salon quoted $60 for the haircut and said cancellation on the same day was allowed. Those were this salon's answers on that call, rather than a general price or policy for every haircut.
The appointment was confirmed, but it was not the earliest available slot within the customer's requested windows. Thursday at 4 PM was also offered. The assistant selected Friday at 2 PM even though Thursday came first.
For someone already using Claude Code or Codex to plan their week, booking a salon appointment is another task for the same assistant. call4me adds the phone call, with the salon's answer returned to the conversation. Connect through the Claude Code guide or Codex guide. The client used for this customer recording is not established; the prompts below are suggested workflows for your own assistant.

How to book a haircut appointment by phone #
- Name the service. Say haircut, trim or another specific service so the salon can choose the right appointment length.
- Say whether the stylist is essential. Give the name and explain whether another stylist is acceptable if they are unavailable.
- Offer a clear window. For example, Thursday or Friday after 11 AM. State whether Thursday takes priority or either day is equally good.
- Compare the complete date and time. Thursday at 4 PM is earlier in the week than Friday at 2 PM. Ask for the earliest calendar appointment if that is your preference.
- Ask what the quote includes. Check the price for the service you requested, along with any deposit or additional service being offered.
- Ask about changes and cancellation. Confirm the notice required and whether a fee applies. Keep the salon's actual answer rather than assuming every salon has the same policy.
- Get an explicit confirmation. Repeat the stylist, date and time, and provide the correct name and callback number.
If you later request a change, keep the original appointment in your records until the salon confirms the replacement.
What to say to the salon #
Hi, I'd like to book a haircut with [stylist]. I can come Thursday, [date], or Friday, [date], after 11 AM. I'd prefer the earliest calendar appointment across those two days. What is available?

Book a salon appointment from Claude Code or Codex #
Once you connect call4me, give the assistant you already use your preferred stylist and the dates you can attend. Specify whether earliest means the first available day or a preferred time of day. If your assistant helped choose the windows, have it read back the full dates before calling.
Here is a suggested prompt:
Use call4me to call my salon and book a haircut with [stylist]. I can attend [dates and time windows]. Choose the earliest calendar appointment across those windows, comparing the date first and the time second. Ask for the haircut price and cancellation policy. Confirm the stylist, date and time before hanging up, then return those details to this conversation. If my preferred stylist is unavailable, ask me before booking with someone else. Do not change an existing booking unless I have asked for that change.
