Maggy Maid Sacramento: house cleaning prices from a real call
A call4me customer's assistant phoned Maggy Maid for recurring cleaning quotes on a two bedroom Midtown apartment, then got a second quote from Belleza's Home Services. Here are both price lists, the deep clean rule, and the full recordings.
Maggy Maid of Sacramento's number is (916) 277-9047. That's the number on its official Sacramento page, which also lists the company wide line (888) 624-4962. Maggy Maid calls itself "a referral agency": it refers vetted cleaners rather than describing them as its own staff. Maggy Maid's service areas around Sacramento, per that page, include Midtown, East Sacramento, Land Park, Natomas, Elk Grove and Roseville. The page says pricing is flat rate, "set for your home", based on "your home's size and condition". It posts no dollar amounts.
So we have numbers. On October 1, 2026, a call4me customer's assistant called that line to get recurring cleaning quotes for a two story apartment in Midtown Sacramento: 2 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms, about 1,014 square feet, three cats and no dogs. It asked for prices only and booked nothing.
A recorded greeting played first. A person answered about 21 seconds into the call, with no menu to get through. She quoted:
- First service: $315. Then, per visit: $220 weekly, $236 biweekly, $284 monthly.
- Deep clean first if it's been over 3 months. The assistant said the last professional cleaning was about four months ago, and she suggested a $375 deep clean for the first visit. For six months or more she "highly suggest[s]" a double deep clean.
At the same time, the assistant placed a second call to Belleza's Home Services & Management at (916) 469-1075, the number on that company's own site, with the same home details. Its prices came in lower. Both calls are below in full.
Maggy Maid prices for a two bedroom apartment
| Detail | What the Maggy Maid call established |
|---|---|
| Home | Two story, 2 bed, 1.5 bath, about 1,014 sq ft, Midtown Sacramento, 3 cats |
| First (initial) service | $315 |
| Weekly, per visit | $220 |
| Biweekly, per visit | $236 |
| Monthly, per visit | $284 |
| Deep clean rule | Suggested if not professionally cleaned in over 3 months; double deep clean for 6 months or more |
| Deep clean quoted for this home | $375 (last professional cleaning about 4 months ago) |
| Standard clean covers | Countertops, kitchen, bathroom, vacuuming, dusting of surface areas |
| Extras she named | Laundry, baseboards |
| Supplies | Cleaners bring them; tell them if you want them to use your own equipment |
| Booking | None. Quote only |
She first said the first service would be $315, then suggested the $375 deep clean once she heard it had been four months. The call doesn't settle whether $375 replaces the $315 first visit or what a double deep clean would cost.
Maggy Maid services: what's in a standard clean
Asked what's in a standard clean versus extra, she said the general clean and the deep clean cover the same list: "countertop, kitchen, bathroom, vacuuming, dusting of the surface areas." The deep clean costs more because a place that hasn't been professionally cleaned needs more time and more cleaning materials. Laundry and baseboards can be added as extras. The cleaners bring supplies and equipment.
A second Sacramento quote: Belleza's Home Services
| Detail | What the Belleza's call established |
|---|---|
| First visit as a deep clean | $65 per hour, 4 man hour minimum, so at least $260 |
| Weekly, per visit | $180 |
| Biweekly, per visit | $195 |
| Monthly, per visit | $236 |
| Deep clean required? | No. Oven and fridge insides are add ons "whenever he feels like it" |
| Standard visit covers | Whole house dusting, mopping, vacuuming, wiping the outside of cabinets |
| Extras | Inside oven, inside fridge, window glass, sliding doors |
| Staff | "Registered, licensed, and bonded"; cleaners with them at least five years, all background checked |
| Supplies | They bring equipment and cleaning agents, not trash bags |
| Pets | They work around pets; eco friendly products; unscented on request (noted for the cats) |
| Cancellation | 48 business hours to pay nothing; under 24 hours means a late cancellation fee; canceling at the door means the full price |
| Satisfaction guarantee | 24 hours; they come back the next day or schedule a return |
| Tipping | Up to you, appreciated |
| Booking | None. Quote only |
The receptionist also asked whether the number the call came from was the best one for sending a written quote, and the assistant said yes. That number is muted in the recording.
What these calls did not establish
- Nothing was booked, held or scheduled with either company.
- No written quote is shown here. Both prices are what was said on the phone on October 1, 2026, for this one home. Your price depends on size, condition and frequency.
- Maggy Maid's $315 versus $375 first visit isn't resolved, and no double deep clean price was given.
- Maggy Maid wasn't asked about cancellation, guarantees, pet fees or cleaner vetting on this call. Its site says the cleaners are "vetted background-checked", but nobody said so on the phone.
- Belleza's employee question went unanswered. The assistant asked if the cleaners are employees rather than contractors and insured; the answer was "registered, licensed, and bonded" and background checked. Insurance and employment status weren't stated.
- One claim came from the assistant, not the company. It said Belleza's site lists 24 hours notice for cancellation. The site we checked mentions a 24 hour satisfaction guarantee and no cancellation policy, and the receptionist gave the 48 hour rule above.
- No pet fee was stated by Belleza's. The call doesn't prove there isn't one.

Phone system: Thank you for calling Maggy Maid, a referral agency. We will be with you shortly.
Representative: Thank you for calling Maggy Maid, a referral agency. This is [staff first name muted]. How can I help you?
AI agent: Hi, this is [customer name muted]'s assistant. I'm just calling to get pricing and policy info for regular standard cleaning at his place in Midtown. It's a two-story, two-bed, one-and-a-half bath, and about 1,014 square feet. There are three cats and no dogs. Could you give me a ballpark over [unclear]
Representative: Oh, sure. Sorry, can you repeat again the two bed, two bath you said?
AI agent: Two bed, one and a half bath.
Representative: Mm-hmm. And two story?
AI agent: That's right.
Representative: Okay, two story. And how many square feet is that?
AI agent: About one thousand fourteen.
Representative: 1014. And you also said that you have two cats?
AI agent: Three cats. No dogs.
Representative: Three cats, okay. Can you provide me the zip code so I can check?
AI agent: Yeah, it's [ZIP code muted].
Representative: [ZIP code muted]. Okay, hold on.
AI agent: Sure.
Representative: Is this just a regular clean, like general clean or deep clean, or what type of [unclear]
AI agent: We're looking to get quotes for standard recurring cleaning.
Representative: Okay. Two, and then one thousand, sorry. One thousand four hundred, sorry.
AI agent: No problem. Oh, sorry, no, it's one thousand fourteen square feet. One zero one four. Yeah.
Representative: Oh, okay. So for this one, ma'am, I would just like to confirm the details if I have everything correct here. Okay, so it's two bed, one and a half bath, and then two story, one thousand fourteen square feet, and you have three cats, correct? For general cleaning?
AI agent: Yes, for regular standard cleaning. And I'd love to know the per visit price for weekly, biweekly, and monthly options if possible.
Representative: Mm-hmm. Okay. So for this one, ma'am, for the first service, that's gonna be three hundred fifteen dollars. For the next booking, if that is for biweekly, that's gonna be two hundred thirty six dollars. And for weekly, that would be two hundred twenty. So again, for weekly, the next service will be two hundred twenty dollars. For biweekly, it's gonna be two hundred thirty six dollars, and for a monthly, that's gonna be two hundred eighty four dollars.
AI agent: Okay, great. Thank you. And is a first-time deep clean required before setting up recurring service? And if so, how much?
Representative: No, it depends. How long has the property not been professionally cleaned?
AI agent: Hmm. Let me check on that.
Representative: Is that a new house? Like, is it post construction? Like a move in move out?
AI agent: It's an existing place, not a new build or a move in or move out.
Representative: Mm-hmm. If your place now hasn't been professionally cleaned for more than three months, we require, we suggest to do a deep clean. And then if it's been more than three months, six months or more, we highly suggest like a double deep clean. So, you know, we can thoroughly clean the place, and then after that, the next one would be just like regular clean for the recurring visits. [Pause] Hello, are you still there?
AI agent: Yep, still here. Thanks for waiting. So it's been about four months since the last professional cleaning. So what would that mean for the initial visit?
Representative: Okay. For that one, ma'am, I highly suggest we can do a deep clean. If you would like to know, I can include a deep clean here. So for a deep clean, ma'am, that's gonna be three hundred seventy five dollars.
AI agent: Okay. And what exactly is included in your standard clean versus what might be an extra charge?
Representative: For the extra clean, it's the same, like, hold on, let me just, give me one second. So for the general clean, it's the same thing with deep cleaning actually. Countertop, kitchen, bathroom, vacuuming, dusting of the surface areas. However, for the deep clean, why it costs more, since again, the place hasn't been professionally cleaned, so our cleaners would require more time and it would use more cleaning materials for that, so that's why it's an extra. But if you would like to add extra, if you would like to include like laundry, baseboards, we can also add that as an extra.
AI agent: I see. And what about supplies and equipment? Do your cleaners bring everything?
Representative: Yes.
AI agent: Perfect, thank you.
Representative: But if you do have like a required equipment that they would like to use, you can just let them know if you have it on your place.
AI agent: Got it. That's helpful. I think that's everything I needed. Thanks again for walking me through it. Bye.
Representative: Okay. All right. Thank you.
Listen to the Belleza's call
The whole call, 7 minutes 48 seconds, with original timing. It opens with about 10 seconds of quiet before anyone speaks. Six short silences cover the receptionist's first name (twice), the customer's name (twice), the ZIP code and the phone number the call came from. Nothing else is muted or cut.

AI agent: Hi, hello?
Representative: Thank you for calling [business name unclear, Belleza's] Home Services and Management. This is [staff first name muted]. How can I help?
AI agent: Hi! This is [customer name muted]'s assistant. We're just trying to get some recurring cleaning pricing for his place, weekly, biweekly and monthly.
Representative: Sure. May I know how did you find us out, find out about us?
AI agent: Oh, probably just through a web search.
Representative: Okay. May I ask you some information, starting with the zip code? Is it [customer first name muted] that's looking for the cleaning services?
AI agent: Yeah, this is his assistant. It's [ZIP code muted].
Representative: Mm-hmm, thank you. Then, does he have a current cleaning services right now?
AI agent: No, he doesn't. He's in a two-story, maybe around a thousand square feet.
Representative: I'm sorry to ask you, but do you know how many bedrooms and bathrooms are we going to clean?
AI agent: Two bedrooms, bath and a half.
Representative: Thank you. Two beds, one and a half bath. Okay. And then the first visit, do we need to do a deep clean? Like clean the inside of the oven and the fridge?
AI agent: He's trying to get a sense of whether that's required before the recurring service. Is that the case, and what would it cost for this size place?
Representative: Well, those are just added services that he can do whenever he feels like it. But it's not necessarily that he needs it done, but just in case he wants to. And then for the pricing, this number that you used to call us, [phone number muted], is this the best number that I can send the quote to?
AI agent: Let me just double check that. Yes, that's fine. But could you also just give me the prices right now, weekly, biweekly, and monthly?
Representative: Mm-hmm. Okay. All right, sure. Let me just [pause]. So based on the information that you have provided, if we are going to do the first time as a deep cleaning, to prepare the house for the recurring service, the thousand square feet home, it will be sixty five dollars, minimum of at least four man hours for us to come out and clean. So that means the first visit would be at least two sixty for four hours of cleaning.
AI agent: Okay.
Representative: And then weekly would be a hundred and eighty. Biweekly would be a hundred and ninety five each time. And then once a month would be two thirty six.
AI agent: Oh, okay.
Representative: So those are the prices. And then the added services will just be on top of those base price.
AI agent: Sure. What's covered in the standard visit, and then what tends to be extra?
Representative: Standard visit would be, of course, the whole house, dusting, mopping, vacuuming, wiping the outside of the cabinets, the [unclear, legs]. And then extras will just be inside the oven or the fridge cleaning, and then the window glasses or sliding doors.
AI agent: Okay, gotcha. And yours, they're employees, not contractors, and they're background checked and insured and bonded?
Representative: We are registered, licensed, and bonded. Our employers, or our cleaners, have been with us for at least five years. And then they are all background checked.
AI agent: Perfect. And they bring
Representative: That is why our price is a little bit higher than the freelancers.
AI agent: That makes sense. And they bring all the supplies and equipment?
Representative: Yes, we do. We will provide all the cleaning equipment and the cleaning agents. The only thing that we do not provide is trash bags. And then if you prefer your own cleaning materials or cleaning products, you just need to prepare them for us.
AI agent: Right. Okay. They advertise eco and pet safe products. He has three cats. So is there any pet fee or any issue with cats?
Representative: We can work around with pets, and then our cleaning agents are eco-friendly and they are not harmful. We try to not use bleach if it's not really needed. We haven't received any complaints about pets having some allergic reactions to our cleaning products. Even people. Just the scent. Some people don't like lavender. So we just need to know that, so we will use the unscented ones.
AI agent: Okay, great. And then the cancellation policy? The site says twenty four hours notice. Is that right?
Representative: Our cancellation policy is a little bit more complicated than that. Forty eight business hours, if you wanted to cancel your cleaning service so that you won't have to pay anything. Because if you cancel twenty four hours less, there would be a late cancellation notice fee. And then if you cancel once the cleaner is in front of your door, you will have to pay for the full cleaning price.
AI agent: Got it. Okay, thank you. And your satisfaction guarantee, is that a twenty-four hour [interrupted]
Representative: Yes, the twenty four hours. That's the twenty four hours, yeah. So for example, you find something that we missed, just let us know. Send us a message or email or call us or leave a voicemail, and we'll go back the next day, or schedule it if you're not available the next day.
AI agent: Okay. That's helpful. And then tipping, is that expected, or is that optional?
Representative: That's really up to you. It would be appreciated, but it's really up to you.
AI agent: Great, thanks. One last thing to close it out: would you be able to note that he prefers the unscented products, given the cats?
Representative: Yeah, of course, of course. We'll take note of that, so that our cleaners will just use the unscented cleaning products.
AI agent: Perfect, that's all I needed. Thanks so much, [staff first name muted]. Bye!
Representative: You're very welcome. Anything else I could help you with? All right. Take care.
AI agent: You take care too.
Get house cleaning quotes by phone
Quote calls go faster when the caller has every detail the office will ask for. Both receptionists asked for the ZIP code, bedrooms, bathrooms and square footage. Maggy Maid also asked about stories, pets and the type of clean, and how long since the last professional cleaning. Belleza's asked how you found them and whether you already have a cleaner. The assistant here didn't know the last cleaning date at first and had to come back with "about four months", which changed the first visit quote.
Have it ask for per visit prices at each frequency, whether the first visit must be a deep clean, what a standard clean covers, and the cancellation rule. Tell it not to book.
