How to cancel SiriusXM with help from your AI agent
Give your assistant the job of finding the right cancellation route and preparing the next step. Hear what a SiriusXM representative confirmed on our call.
To cancel SiriusXM, first identify who bills you. If SiriusXM bills you directly, its official cancellation guide lists the Subscriptions tab in the Online Account Center, online chat, and (866) 635 8641. If Apple, Google Play or Roku bills you, use that provider's subscription management process.
We called SiriusXM with call4me on October 7, 2026. A human representative confirmed that direct subscribers can cancel through phone or online chat and receive an email confirmation after processing. Our call gathered general instructions. We did not cancel a subscription or access a subscriber account.
Give your AI agent the cancellation task #
Your assistant can organize the task before you spend time in a support queue. Ask it to find the correct route, prepare your questions and keep track of what remains unfinished. If published instructions leave a question unanswered, it can use call4me to call for clarification.
Connect your assistant using the Claude Code phone calling guide or Codex phone calling guide, then give it this task:
Help me cancel my SiriusXM subscription. The company billing me is [provider or unknown], my next renewal is [date or unknown], and I want to [stop renewal or end service as soon as possible]. Check the official cancellation route for my billing provider. Prepare the steps I need to complete and identify any missing account information. If a policy question is unresolved, use call4me to ask support at its published number. Ask about the effective date, remaining charges, any refund and how cancellation is confirmed. Separate confirmed answers from unanswered questions. Be clear that you are assisting me. If account holder verification is required, tell me how to participate. Ask me before submitting a cancellation, accepting a new offer or agreeing to a charge. Do not mark the task complete until we have confirmation.
The useful result is a short action list: where to cancel, what you need to have ready and what you must still confirm. If the next step requires your login or identity verification, the assistant should bring that step back to you.
How to cancel SiriusXM online #
For a subscription billed by SiriusXM, start with the Subscriptions tab in its Online Account Center. This route comes from the official cancellation guide. We did not sign in or test the account controls, so the recording below demonstrates a support inquiry rather than an online cancellation.
Have your assistant prepare a checklist before you begin. Make sure you select the subscription you intend to end, read the final screen and save the result. If the page shows an offer or a different effective date than expected, review it before continuing.
You can also start chat through SiriusXM's contact page, which lists chat assistance as available 24 hours a day. The human we reached confirmed that online chat is a cancellation route. We did not test the chat conversation or its account verification process.
How to cancel SiriusXM by phone #
We reached a human through the cancellation number, (866) 635 8641. SiriusXM's contact page lists call center hours as 8 AM to 8 PM Eastern, Monday through Sunday, and advises having your account number or radio ID ready.
Our call initially reached SiriusXM's virtual assistant. It requested an account holder name and billing ZIP code. Our caller explained that this was a general policy inquiry and asked for a person twice. The system then transferred the call to a human.
That is the path observed on this call, not a guaranteed shortcut through every menu. We supplied no subscriber credentials. We did not test whether SiriusXM would accept an AI assistant's authority to cancel a real account. For your own request, be ready to complete verification if support requires your participation.
Cancelling SiriusXM through Apple, Google Play or Roku #
SiriusXM's official guide directs subscriptions billed by another company to that billing provider. Check your receipt or statement if you are unsure which company takes payment.
| Who bills you | Where to start |
|---|---|
| Apple | Apple's subscription cancellation instructions linked from the SiriusXM guide |
| Google Play | Google Play's subscription cancellation instructions linked from the guide |
| Roku | Subscription management in your Roku account |
These routes come from the website. Although our caller mentioned Apple, Google and Roku in the introduction, the representative's answer covered direct billing only. We did not test any of these provider flows.
Give your assistant the billing provider's name so it can prepare the right instructions. You do not need to paste an entire bank statement into the task to explain who bills you.
Confirm the effective date and any remaining charge #
Our representative said an email follows processing. The call did not establish when service ends, whether a particular renewal will still be charged or whether any refund applies.
Before completing your own request, have these questions ready:
- What date will this subscription end?
- Will another payment be taken, and what does it cover?
- Does this account have any refund or remaining balance?
- Where will the cancellation confirmation arrive?
Ask your assistant to keep the answers alongside the confirmation. A request for instructions is still an inquiry. A submitted request awaiting confirmation should stay marked as pending. If the promised email does not arrive, follow up through the official support route and ask for the subscription's current status.
Listen to our SiriusXM cancellation inquiry #
The recording is approximately 3 minutes 14 seconds. The employee name and a brief ambiguous greeting are muted, with the original timing preserved. No subscription was cancelled.

These excerpts were checked against two independent automatic transcriptions of the source recording. Timestamps are approximate. No human listening verification is claimed. The excerpts omit greetings, the transfer and closing acknowledgments.
0:41 Call4me: This is actually just a general policy question. Could I speak with the representative, please?
1:01 Call4me: It's kind of a general policy question for a consumer guide, not for a specific account. Could I talk with a live person about that?
1:16 Virtual assistant: Since you're looking for details on our policies for your consumer guide, I'll connect you to a live specialist who can help you out.
2:19 Call4me: No, this isn't about an account. It's just a general policy question.
2:31 Call4me: Sure. So for direct billed subscriptions, what cancellation routes are currently available? Phone, online, chat, and how do customers confirm it's actually canceled?
2:45 Representative: So we can cancel the service through online chat and call, and once this cancellation has been processed, the subscriber will be receiving a confirmation email.
