The Phoenician Golf Club: group tee times and rates in Scottsdale
A call4me customer's assistant asked The Phoenician for four morning tee times on a November Friday. The morning was sold out, and the golf rate was $247 plus tax. Calls to Stonecreek and Camelback Golf Club came back with different answers.
The Phoenician Golf Club is at 6000 East Camelback Road, Scottsdale, Arizona. For Phoenician golf tee times, The Phoenician's official golf page says "To make a reservation, please click the button below or call" (480) 423-2450. That is the number dialed in the call below. For a group, the golf shop transferred the call to the tournament coordinator.
On October 9, 2026, a call4me customer's assistant called The Phoenician about a small company golf morning: 12 to 16 golfers, three or four consecutive tee times around 8:00 to 8:30 AM on Friday, November 20, 2026, with carts, range balls and something to eat. The budget was about $165 per golfer, all in.
The coordinator said that Friday was "basically sold out" in the morning, with the first open tee times at 2:00 PM. The golf rate was $247 plus tax per golfer, and he said they could not go lower. He agreed to call back and place a soft hold if a morning slot opened up.
The same customer's assistant also called two other Phoenix area courses where a person answered with real answers: Stonecreek Golf Club, through the Arcis Golf sales office, and Camelback Golf Club at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn. Their answers are compared below.

Phoenician golf course rates compared with Stonecreek and Camelback
All three calls asked about the same Friday, November 20, 2026, for the same group of 12 to 16 golfers.
| Course | Morning tee times for the group | Quoted price per golfer | Food |
|---|---|---|---|
| The Phoenician Golf Club, Scottsdale | Morning sold out; first open tee times at 2:00 PM | $247 plus tax, golf only | Separate, through the hotel; about $15 to $20 estimated for a breakfast burrito and drink |
| Stonecreek Golf Club, Phoenix (Arcis Golf) | Blocked from 8:00 to 8:27 AM for up to 16 players, with a 12 player minimum | $189 plus tax and service charge | Breakfast burrito and boxed lunch included in that price |
| Camelback Golf Club, Ambiente course | 8:42 to 9:00 AM for 12 players; not until 10:00 AM for 16 | $249 plus tax | Golf shop breakfast, snack shack, food on the course and a restaurant; no package price given |
Stonecreek was the only one of the three with a morning block for the full group and food in the quoted price. Its sales contact said the only way to get close to $165 all in was to cut breakfast. Neither The Phoenician nor Camelback offered a group rate below its quoted golf rate on these calls.

Representative: Phoenician Golf Shop, this is [staff first name muted]
AI agent: Hi, I'm calling about bringing a small group out on Friday, November 20th. Would there be morning tee times around eight or so for, maybe twelve to sixteen golfers?
Representative: Um. Yeah. Uh, can I uh transfer you to my tournament coordinator
AI agent: Sure, that'd be great.
Representative: Okay
Representative: This is [staff first name muted] here from the Phoenician Golf Club. How can I help you
AI agent: [Greeting with staff first name muted], thanks. I'm checking to see if you've got availability for 3 or 4 consecutive morning tee times on Friday, November 20th around eight to eight thirty.
Representative: Let's take a look, Friday, November 20th. I don't, um, that day is basically sold out. My first available tee times aren't until two o'clock in the afternoon on that Friday
AI agent: Oh, gotcha. I was really hoping for the morning, but uh, is there any chance of movement that morning or any group cancellations you've heard of?
Representative: So... I have a large group that tees off from eight to nine twenty. And then I've got just regular play in between nine thirty and eleven, and then I have a tournament that tees off at one o'clock. So I don't think there's gonna be much possibility of cancellation
AI agent: Okay, that's fair. Um, if something did open up that morning, do you know roughly what the all in per golfer price would be including cart, range balls and maybe a simple food option?
Representative: Yes, uh, for the golf, it's two forty seven plus tax, that includes a cart, all the carts have GPS. It includes the driving range, and then it comes with complimentary water bottles all throughout the round, and then we'll provide them with tees, ball markers, divot tools. If they need to rent clubs, rentals are a hundred and nine dollars plus tax. Comes with six golf balls and a glove. Um, and then as far as food and beverage, the hotel actually manages that, and it's completely separate. But I would say like a breakfast burrito or something would be like fifteen, twenty bucks with a drink or something like that, probably
AI agent: Okay, yeah, that's helpful. Our target is closer to like a hundred and sixty five per person all in. Is there any flexibility if we...
Representative: Unfortunately no. Um. That is our starting rate, we dynamically price it. I've got people paying two ninety, two eighty five, three oh six. So, unfortunately, we couldn't go any lower than that
AI agent: Okay, yeah, I understand. Uh, if there's any chance the morning opening did come up, could we at least place a courtesy hold under [customer name and company muted], no deposit?
Representative: Yeah, yeah, absolutely. What's a good contact phone number for you
AI agent: You can use [callback phone number muted].
Representative: Perfect. All right. Yeah, if anything pops up, we'll give you a call, and then we can place a soft hold on it, but... uh, we'll play it by ear
AI agent: Okay, that sounds good. And just in case, can I get your email so [customer first name muted] can follow up with the details in writing?
Representative: Sure. Yeah, whenever you're ready, I'll give it to you here
AI agent: Go ahead.
Representative: All right, it's [staff name and email address muted]
AI agent: Perfect. And could you send any availability or pricing to [customer email address muted] and just copy [customer email address muted] as well?
Representative: Uh, sure, what's the email I need to send it to
AI agent: [customer email address muted], and copy [customer email address muted].
Representative: Okay. All right, will do
AI agent: Great, thanks so much.
Representative: All right, take care
AI agent: Bye.
Listen to the Stonecreek Golf Club call
This call went to the Arcis Golf sales office, which handles group events for Stonecreek Golf Club in Phoenix, on a direct line the customer already had from email with that office. Stonecreek's golf events page lists 602.953.9111 for the club at 4435 E Paradise Village Pkwy S, Phoenix. The direct line is not published here.
The customer had emailed the sales office the day before, and the office had suggested Stonecreek as closer to the budget than Grayhawk. On the call, the sales contact found a block on the tee sheet from 8:00 to 8:27 AM for up to 16 players, explained a 75 percent minimum (book 16, pay for at least 12), offered boxed lunches because a buffet lunch isn't possible for 16, and quoted $189 plus tax and service charge per player for golf, cart, range balls, a breakfast burrito and a boxed lunch.
The recording lasts 6 minutes 55 seconds. Long quiet stretches while the sales contact checks the tee sheet and pricing remain in full. The recording ends while the assistant is still responding, without a goodbye.

Representative: Arcis Golf Sales Office, this is [staff first name muted]
AI agent: [Greeting with staff first name muted], I'm calling to check on some morning tee times for Friday, November twentieth, for about twelve to sixteen players.
Representative: Okay. Let's see here. November twentieth. Uh. What is your first and last name
AI agent: It's under [customer name and company muted], and he mentioned he emailed you
Representative: Oh
AI agent: Yeah.
Representative: Perfect. Yes, yes, yeah. I was, um, going to send him an email. Today, this morning, actually. So good timing
AI agent: Good timing, yeah.
Representative: Um let me, one second. [Quiet wait, about 20 seconds.] Okay. When we were looking at, um was it Stonecreek
AI agent: Yeah. Stonecreek. You'd mentioned Grayhawk was a little high for our budget. So, just checking if Stonecreek could work that morning.
Representative: Okay. Okay
AI agent: We're looking for like three or four foursomes around eight or eight thirty a.m.
Representative: Eight o'clock, okay. Um, there it is. Okay, perfect. Do you know for a fact that you guys will have, like, twelve or sixteen? Cause like I, I mean, I can book for sixteen, but like we try and keep a minimum of seventy five percent
AI agent: Hmm, gotcha.
Representative: Um, so, I mean, if you book for sixteen, your, your minimum is twelve. But
AI agent: Mm-hmm, yeah.
Representative: again, I, I didn't know if there was a final player count that you guys have as of right now
AI agent: Hmm, let me just check real quick. Okay, we're not totally final, but we're pretty solid on twelve and maybe up to sixteen, so holding four foursomes would be great if the twelve minimum works.
Representative: Okay. Let me pull up the tee sheet here real quick. November twentieth. Okay, yeah, I have it blocked right now for eight a.m. to eight twenty seven. Um. And then you guys were looking to do breakfast and lunch for the group
AI agent: Yeah, some kind of breakfast or lunch with those tee times just to start the day.
Representative: Okay. Um. Would box lunches be okay? We can't, we can't do like a buffet lunch for only sixteen players
AI agent: Mm. Yeah, boxed lunches would be fine, as long as we can get the per golfer price with that included. Like greens fees, cart, range, food, taxes.
Representative: Okay. Give me one quick second
AI agent: Sure.
Representative: And then would I send everything to his email
AI agent: Yes, please send it to [customer email address muted] and just copy [customer email address muted].
Representative: Uh. Oh, [part of customer email address muted]. Got it. Okay. And I never caught your name. What was your name
AI agent: I'm with [customer company muted].
Representative: Okay. Um, let me just confirm we have everything here. Um, give me one quick second
AI agent: Sure.
Representative: Okay, so we have golf in the morning at eight o'clock, breakfast burritos, and then a box lunch for everybody
AI agent: [tongue click] Beautiful. And what would the per person total come to with all that for, say, twelve to sixteen players?
Representative: Um, here real quick. [Quiet wait, about 45 seconds.] So it would be a hundred and eighty nine dollars plus tax and service charge per player, um, which includes the golf, cart, range balls, breakfast burrito per player, and then a box lunch per player as well
AI agent: Hmm. Okay, let me check that. Got it. Yeah, our budget's more like one sixty five all in. So, what's that all in number with tax and service included? And can you possibly get any closer to that figure by maybe tweaking the food or tee time?
Representative: Uh. Yeah, I can see what I can do. Um, one quick second here. [Quiet wait, about 25 seconds.] The only, the only way I can get you close to that number is, if we cut out like breakfast. If you guys want lunch, um, you know, I can't, at least at Stonecreek, I can't get you all in with breakfast and lunch
AI agent: Hmm, okay, one sec. Okay.
[Recording ends.]
Listen to the Camelback Golf Club call
The assistant dialed (480) 596-7050, the number linked on Camelback Golf Club's official site for the club at 7847 N Mockingbird Ln, Scottsdale. It reached the JW Marriott Scottsdale Camelback Inn menu first and stayed on the line rather than pressing 3 for golf tee times.
The golf shop said 12 players could go off from 8:42 to 9:00 AM, while 16 players could not start until 10:00 AM, on the Ambiente course at $249 plus tax per player. The employee said the course would not be cart path only that day; the club's site lists Ambiente as cart path only from November 6 to November 19. There was no separate group sales contact: food would be set up with whoever books the tee time.
The recording lasts 3 minutes 31 seconds.

AI agent: Hi, I was hoping to get a quote for a group golf morning next November. Hi! I was hoping to get a group golf quote for...
Representative: Next November
AI agent: Uh, as in Friday, November 20th, 2026.
Representative: Okay. How many players
AI agent: Between 12 and 16 players, consecutive tee times around 8 to 8:30 in the morning, with carts and range.
Representative: Okay, and you, I'm sorry, you said 16 or 12
AI agent: 12 to 16, somewhere in that range.
Representative: 12, 16, okay. Um. [tongue click] So, if it was gonna be 12, I could do eight forty-two to 9 o'clock. Otherwise, if it was gonna get to 16, we wouldn't be able to start until 10 a.m. Um, and that would be on our Ambiente golf course. And the course, actually, it won't be in cart path only, so that's good. The rate would be two forty nine plus tax per player
AI agent: Okay.
Representative: Okay. Did you need anything else
AI agent: Uh, yeah. I'm also curious, is there a food option, maybe a breakfast or maybe a boxed lunch?
Representative: Uh, yeah, we have breakfast in the golf shop or at the snack shack and then uh, food on the course and then there's also a restaurant here
AI agent: Oh, nice. Um, what's that contact, for events or group sales? I'd love their name and email.
Representative: [tongue click] Um, [unclear words] that would just be through, if you book it, then we could just get you that, because it's only gonna be a small amount of players. We could just set that up in terms of whoever books the tee time
AI agent: Ah, I see. Is there someone who could email the package info and the pricing so we can review it?
Representative: Sure, what's the email
AI agent: It's [customer email address muted] and then just copy [customer email address muted].
Representative: Okay, we'll send that over
AI agent: Perfect, that would be great. Thank you so much!
What these calls did not settle
- No tee times were booked or held anywhere. The Phoenician offered a soft hold only if a morning opened up. Stonecreek's 8:00 to 8:27 block was on the tee sheet during the call, but the recording ends before any hold terms, deposit or written confirmation.
- No all in price was confirmed. Every quote was before tax, and Stonecreek's was also before a service charge. None of the three gave a total with tax and service included.
- The Phoenician did not quote a group package. Food goes through the hotel, and the $15 to $20 breakfast figure was the coordinator's rough estimate.
- Camelback gave no package food price, deposit terms or service charge. It agreed to email information, and the recording does not show whether that email arrived.
- No Grayhawk price came up. The assistant mentioned the sales office's earlier email saying Grayhawk was above the budget; the call did not quote Grayhawk.
- Prices are statements from October 9 and October 12, 2026. The Phoenician's coordinator said its rates are dynamic.
Tips for booking Phoenician golf tee times for a group
Ask for the tournament or group coordinator when you have three or more foursomes. At The Phoenician, the golf shop transferred the call straight away.
Ask early about the morning you want. On a November Friday booked six weeks out, The Phoenician's morning was already taken by a large group, regular play and an afternoon tournament.
Ask whether food is part of the golf quote. The Phoenician quoted golf only, with food through the hotel. Stonecreek built food into its per player price. Camelback said food would be arranged with whoever books.
Ask about minimums before you commit. Stonecreek explained a 75 percent minimum: hold 16, and the minimum is 12.
Ask your assistant to call about group tee times
Connect call4me to your assistant through the Claude Code guide or Codex guide. The following is a suggested brief, not what the customer used.
Call The Phoenician Golf Club at (480) 423-2450 and ask for the tournament coordinator. Ask about [number] consecutive tee times for [12 to 16] golfers on [date] around [time], with carts and range. Get the per golfer price, what it includes, whether food is separate, and the total with tax and any service charge. Our budget is [amount] per golfer: ask what they can do at that number. If the morning is full, ask for the earliest time that day and whether they can call back if something opens. Get the coordinator's email and ask for the quote in writing at [my email]. Don't book, pay a deposit or agree to any minimum.
