The call below dialed (860) 644-2055. Town Fair Tire answered, but that number is not on either Manchester store page (it is one digit off the Buckland Hills number), and the representative never named the store. If you want a specific location, use the numbers above.
On October 14, 2026, a call4me customer's assistant asked Town Fair Tire for a quote on four Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 snow tires in 205/55R16 for a 2024 Toyota Corolla LE. Over October 13 and 14 the same assistant asked four other shops nearby for the same set. Town Fair's quote was the highest of the comparable ones.

At Monro, the store employee said he wasn't seeing the WS90 in that size and read out other Bridgestone lines, including the Blizzak Icepeak. The call ended before a price.
A few things the table can't show:
- Town Fair says it beats competitor prices. In the same call the representative said "we will beat any local competitor prices, including Pep Boys, Walmart, Firestone." The assistant didn't bring up the Firestone quote, so nobody tested that.
- Costco's numbers are before tax, while Town Fair's and Firestone's are out the door. Costco's $164 times four is $656; the representative's total was $676, and the call didn't break down the difference.
- Firestone's figure was "about six fifty five", not an itemized total.

What these calls did not confirm
- Which Town Fair Tire store answered. The dialed number isn't on either Manchester store page.
- The exact rebate amount. The Town Fair representative said "up to" $180, then read the fine print with an amount the recording doesn't make clear. $853.98 minus $773.98 is $80, which matches the $80 rebate the customer asked about. Nobody read out Bridgestone's own terms, and he didn't directly answer whether Town Fair is a "participating Bridgestone Rewards retailer"; he said the rebate qualifies for the Blizzak line and most Bridgestone models.
- Invoice wording. The customer wanted the invoice to show tires plus installation, presumably for the rebate claim. No shop was asked to confirm that.
- Stock. Firestone said "looks like I can get them". Town Fair and Costco quoted the tire but didn't say whether it was in stock.
- A booking or a price match. No shop booked an appointment, and nobody asked Town Fair to beat another quote.

Getting a snow tire quote you can compare
The useful quotes here had three things in common: the exact tire model, the exact size, and an explicit ask for the out-the-door price with mounting, balancing and fees. When the assistant asked for "snow tires" without a model, Tires International picked a different tire, which can't be compared line for line with the Blizzak quotes.
Even with the same question, shops answered differently. Town Fair itemized and included tax. Costco gave pre-tax prices. Firestone gave a rounded figure. If you're comparing, ask each shop the same three things: the total with tax, what fees it includes, and whether the tire is in stock.
For the rebate, the shop's answer is a starting point. Read the manufacturer's terms yourself before you buy, and ask the shop to put the tires and installation on one invoice if the rebate needs that.
If Town Fair Tire is where you want to buy, its price-beating pitch is worth using. Have the other written quotes ready and ask them to beat one.
