Equal Parts SF reservations: a same night table by phone
Staff said they were fully committed from 5:45 to 8:15 PM, then offered a lounge table. A real call booked two people for 7:00 PM the same night.
Equal Parts SF is at 478 Green Street in North Beach, San Francisco, and takes reservations by phone at (415) 875 9600. That is the number on its official hours and location page, and it is the number the call below dialed. On the phone menu, press 1 for reservations and guest services. Press 2 for private dining and events, or 3 for administrative services.
On Tuesday, October 13, 2026, a call4me customer's assistant called Equal Parts San Francisco to book a table for two that night. The customer preferred 7:00 PM and would accept anything from 6:30 to 7:30 PM, in the dining room or at the bar.
A staff member answered after the menu. The first offer was 8:30 PM. When the assistant asked for something earlier, staff said they were fully committed between 5:45 and 8:15 PM, then offered a lounge table. The assistant asked whether a lounge table would work around 7, staff agreed, and the call ended with "you're all set for 7 p.m."

What this call did not confirm
- What a lounge table includes. Staff did not say whether the lounge serves the full dinner menu, how long the table is held, or how it differs from a dining room table.
- The callback number. The phone number the assistant read out did not match the number the customer gave in the brief. The restaurant may have a wrong callback number on file for this booking.
- A written confirmation. No confirmation number, text or email was mentioned.
- Cancellation rules, deposits or a card hold. None came up.
- The visit itself. The recording establishes the booking, not that the customer arrived or was seated.
If any of these matter to you, ask before the call ends. For a lounge or bar table in particular, ask whether the full menu is available and whether there is a time limit.
Listen to the Equal Parts reservation call
The complete recording keeps its original timing, including the pauses while staff checked availability and entered the booking. The staff member's name, the reservation name, the callback number and a short unclear phrase that may be a name readback are muted.
Key presses don't show up in the recording. The gap after the menu is the caller pressing 1. The caller also said its own plan out loud during the menu ("stay quiet till it's done, then try for reservations"); that remains in the audio.
The recording lasts 1 minute 55 seconds.

Booking a same night table at an Equal Parts cocktail bar
Equal Parts' official site lists Tuesday hours of 4 PM to 10 PM, with the kitchen open until 9:30 PM, and links online booking through OpenTable. The phone line was still useful here: it surfaced a lounge table at the requested time after the regular slots were taken.
Two things in the customer's brief made the booking possible. It gave a time window instead of a single time, and it said bar seating was fine. That let the assistant accept the lounge table without checking back. If you only want the dining room, say so, and say whether you would rather take a later dining table (here, 8:30 PM) or a lounge table at your preferred time.
Give your assistant the exact callback number you want on the booking, and ask it to read it back as written. In this call the number spoken on the line was not the one supplied.
Ask your assistant to book Equal Parts
Connect call4me to your assistant through the Claude Code guide or Codex guide. The following is a suggested brief, not what the customer used.
Call Equal Parts in North Beach, San Francisco, at (415) 875 9600 and press 1 for reservations. Book a table for [party size] on [date], ideally at [time], anything from [earliest] to [latest] is fine. [Dining room only / bar or lounge seating is fine]. If the dining room is full, ask about lounge tables and whether the full menu is served there. Give the name [name] and callback number [number] exactly as written. Before hanging up, confirm the date, time, party size and seating type, and ask about any time limit, deposit or cancellation rule.
