Sabai Eugene reservations: the call that booked Friday dinner
The assistant waited through the reservation queue, accepted 7:15 PM instead of 7:00 PM and got an explicit table confirmation.
Sabai in Eugene accepts reservations by phone at (541) 654 5424. The restaurant is at 27 Oakway Center, Eugene, Oregon. Its official reservations page welcomes walk ins and recommends reservations.
On October 10, 2026, a call4me customer's assistant called to book dinner for two on Friday, October 16, preferably around 7:00 PM. It reached the phone menu and reservation queue, waited while the restaurant handled other reservations, then spoke to a staff member.
Staff offered 6:45 PM or 7:15 PM. The assistant chose 7:15 PM, which was within the customer's allowed 6:30 to 7:30 PM window. The representative took the booking details and repeated the final date, time and party size.

Why a time window helps
A request for exactly 7:00 PM could have required the assistant to ask the customer what to do next. Here, the acceptable window was already part of the brief. When staff offered two alternatives, the assistant could choose one and finish the booking during the same conversation.
That flexibility should come from the customer. Tell the caller whether an earlier dinner, a later dinner or a different day is acceptable. Give separate limits for time, seating and party size instead of assuming that flexibility in one area applies to everything.
Waiting was also part of the work. This recording shows the assistant staying through one real reservation queue. It is not a claim about Sabai's usual wait, the average length of an AI call or how quickly another restaurant will answer.
Have your assistant call Sabai
If you already use Claude Code or Codex, connect call4me using the Claude Code instructions or Codex instructions. This is a suggested workflow; the customer's client is not established by the recording.
Call Sabai at 27 Oakway Center in Eugene to reserve a table for [number] on [full date]. Prefer [time], but accept [earliest] through [latest]. Use the name and callback number I provide privately. Wait through the reservation queue, ask about any deposit or cancellation terms, and repeat the final date, time and party size. If no time fits, report the alternatives without booking outside my limits.
